3C's of Life- Choices, Chances, Changes

You make a Choice to take a Chance in order to make a Change in your life.

Since my layoff in October, the last couple months have been extremely outside my hula hoop. I had no structure or routine anymore...I was unemployed and had all the free time in the world. I had no direction on where I was going which was different from what I was used to. I found myself going nuts not having a job and having too much free time! I applied to several companies EVERYWHERE in the US in hopes that something would turn out within the industry I have worked so hard to be a part of. I refused to allow myself take a step back and settle for a dead end job just to make ends meet. I would have rather drug out unemployment benefits since it paid better anyway :o) In my search...Colorado was just not offering much in my field that didnt involve commission based only pay and no benefits.

Today, I signed an offer with the #1 cabinet manufacturer in the US as a Customer Service Design Coordinator. I had flown out for an in-person interview with the company earlier this week in Jasper,Indiana only to find that I recieved an offer that would be crazy for me not to accept. So, I made a Choice today, Im taking a Chance, and my life is soon to Change....an adventure I am looking forward to.

Though it is a big bold move on my part, leaving my friends and family and the comfort of Colorado as my home all my life. This move will only open doors for bigger and better opportunities for me. Once again, I am thankful that I was able to get out of my comfort zone and not settle for anything less then what I deserve. Sure, its scary for me...but exciting at the same time.

Life is what you make it, no matter how many obstacles seem to stand in your way. You learn to push through or look in a different direction and even though you may end up somewhere you never would think of...you are meant to take that step to get you to where you need to be. Staying positive in any situation has always been the best rule of thumb to keep moving forward. Anyone close to you will be supportive in the decisions you make and help you on your journey...otherwise they are a waste of your time. Enjoy the adventures and dont take advantage of what life has to offer. Take the bad in with the good. After all "Everything Happens for a Reason!"-quote from my mom that holds true everyday.

That is the end of my rant...:o)
This month will be extremely busy with holidays and moving, but updates will come as I start this new direction!
