This blog started origionally as a way of publishing my portfolio while I was in a job hunt in my career field. I realized I enjoyed writing about my journey from getting through being laid off. It has now turned into the adventures of my life.
Though I know that many could care less about reading about my adventures, its a fun way for me to report the things I have been experiencing and reflect back on the great moments in my life.
Many will wonder where the word "FRIT" came from and what it means. Since I was a little girl, my mother couldn't just call me by my first name, it had developed into "Frittle" meaning Fragile and Little. It has stuck throughout my life. It was when I was called by my first name growing up that I knew I was in trouble :o) which was hardly EVER!! haha
I grew up in Denver, Colorado and it wasn't until recently I moved my life along with my guinea pig Mr. Hank to Jasper, Indiana for a job. I am a bit stubborn at times and therefore after my lay off in Denver, I refused to get a job that was not in the field I had already worked 4 years in. I did not give myself the option to risk having to struggle to make a living so I decided to apply all over the US and it just so happened the opportunity that awaited me was here in Jasper, Indiana.
I do miss Colorado at times, especially since my family and boyfriend are still there. I will say, this experience has taught me that I can do anything and accomplish whatever I want in my life. This opportunity will only get me closer to my dream. It is this, that brings me to writing about my adventures until I get to this dream of mine.
